There has to be a close relationship in order for it to be interpersonal

In real life, relationships take a long time to build up, an example being with my best friend, whom I have known for 4 years. We get closer by each year.
I found it interesting how the author can divide up different types of relationships in so many ways. Such as Low disclosure and high disclosure types of friendships.
How to choose relational partners
Not necessarily romantic
Having things in common, Balances each other's personalities, Admires each other's abilities, Sees each other frequently.
