- - - - Porter's 5 Force Model
        The five forces consist of three forces from horizontal competition- the threat of alternate products or services, the threat of established rivals, and the threat of new competitors- and two forces from vertical competition- the bargaining power of suppliers and the bargaining power of customers.
        
        Value Chain Model
        
        Porter’s Value Chain Model concentrates on the systems and activities with customers as the main standard. The Value Chain Model links systems and activities to each other and demonstrates what effect this has on costs and profit.
        
        Porter's Four Corner Model
        1.Drivers: What drives a company's competition and moves a company forward? If a company understands what a competitors' goals are, the company will know whether the competitor is likely to change course or not in the future.
        2.Strategy: What is a competitor’s strategy? A company can use this insight to prepare the company for forthcoming changes that may occur.
        3.Capabilities: Understand the strengths and weaknesses of a company's competitor. What are a competitor's strengths? What is the competitior's competitive advantage?
        4.Management Assumptions: What does a competitor believe about themselves and others? Analyzing a competitor’s assumptions will help the company identify the competitor's weaknesses and blind spots.
        
        Porter's Generic Strategies
        The generic strategies describe how a company seeks competitive advantage across the company's chosen market scope. There are three generic strategies, lower cost, differentiated, or focus.
        
        Porter's Hypothesis
        
        The hypothesis states that strict environmental regulations can lead to efficiency and inspire new innovations that help improve commercial competitiveness.

        I chose the upbeat colors for the branches of the mind map to make Porter's economics theories more appealing and not appear so complicated.
        
        Affordances and Constraints of the Mind Map
        
        Constraints:
        -If it is your first time creating a mind map, it can be quite hard and takes a lot of patience to figure out what you are doing.
        -Main focus is on the information, not the pictures, which can possibly bore the audience during a presentation.
        
        Affordances:
        -The mind map allows presenter of the project to place a lot of information without overwhelming the viewer. The information is spread out in aesthetically pleasing way.
        -Mind maps are easy to maneuver during a presentation.
        -The website of Coggle is free and accessible to anyone with a computer.
        -Can add others onto the mind map document, so that multiple people can be working on the mind map at one time
        
        I chose the font used in the mind map because it is clear and easy for the audience to read. It also makes Porter's economic theories appear to be clear and easy to read.
