Mixtures, Chromatography and Separation Techniques
Mixtures
Unlike compounds, mixtures are easily seperated

The properties of a mixture are just a mix of the properties of the individual parts - the chemical properties of a substance are not affected by it being part of a mixture

Steps involved
1) Using a pencil, draw a line near the bottom of the filter paper
2) Add a spot of ink to the line, and place the paper in a beaker of solvent (e.g. water)
-
-
-
5) The solvent seeps up the paper, taking the ink with it.
