lymphatic vessels- lymphatic capillaries merge to form lymphatic vessels, superficial lymphatic vessels=adjacent to superficial veins, deep lymphatic vessels=next to deep arteries and veins. similar to veins, they both have the 3 vessel tunics, valves, moves lymph in 1 direction towards the heart, and they go from small to large (anastomosis)
Lymphatic capillaries- they are the beginning of the lymph network spread throughout areolar connective tissue, Microscopic closed ended vessels that absorb interstitial fluid
Lymphatic ducts- convey lymph back into the venous blood circulation, Right lymphatic duct and thoracic duct
Lymphatic trunks- different lymphatic trunks remove lymph from a major body region on both the right and left side of the body
