The writing that influenced me the most was Zlateh. Here she was, an eleven-year-old who lived in Sarajevo during this awful, cold-hearted war. Her mood was mostly happy, although when she wrote about the war, she began to think more serious, heavyweight thoughts. She began to entertain us with things that happened during her life to tear her mind away from the horror of the war. Then, PARIS CAME!!! She immediately began to think happy thoughts once more. Zlateh is an important person for people to know about.
