Assessments
Pre-Assessment:
K-W-L Chart over multiplication,
Arrays and Multiplication (Page 44)
Post-Assessment:
Writing Multiplication Stories (Page 45), Patterns on a table (Page 57), Find a Rule Worksheet (Page 59), 0-4 as a factor (46-55), 5-10 as a factor (46-55)
Technology Innovation:
Powtoons:
SAMR Level: Augmentation
Students will watch a video that the teacher has created to help students figure out what product they want to make. This is appealing to the Auditory and Visual learners.
Edited Video:
SAMR Level: Modification
Students will watch a video that the teacher has edited with questions for students to think about and talk with other students. This allows students to come up with tips and tricks for learning their multiplication tables. This is appealing to the Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic learners.
iPad
:
SAMR Level: Modification
Students will use their iPads to research information for the best product to sell to their classmates. They will look up interests, ingredients and many other things that would help their product. They will use multiplication to come up with ratios for the product. They will also use the iPad to take a video that acts as a commercial for their product. They will use their commercial to try to get people to buy their product. They must use their creativity to come up with something that is appealing to their classmates. This is appealing to the Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic learners.
Document Camera
:
SAMR Level: Redefinition
Students will show off their products to the class by using the document camera to get in close. This will give the students a better chance to look at the product. This is appealing to the Visual learners.
Google Drive
:
SAMR Level: Modification
Students will make a google drive form to get feedback from their product and their video. The students will come up with their questions and collaborate with their group to make the right questions. This is appealing to Auditory learners.
3-D Printer
:
SAMR Level: Redefinition
The students will use the printer to produce their product. They will use the system to create and design something to sell to their classmates. This is appealing to Visual learners.
