FIFTEEN ORGANELLES
-
Peroxisomes
Breaks down fatty acids that will be used for forming membranes and as a fuel for cellular respiration.
-
Cell Membrane
Protects the cell from outside dangers and maintains the shape of the cell as well as import and export nutrients
-
Ribosomes
Located on the rough endoplasmic reticulum, they make proteins which are needed and are like construction workers
Vacoules
Vacuoles helps keep the trash away from the rest of the cell and acts as a sort of container, kind of like a helper of the Lysosome
Cytoplasm
Cytoplasm contains every cell inside the cell and most chemical processes take place in the cytoplasm
Nucleus
The command center of the whole cell, it tells every organelle what to do and coordinates the activities of the cell
-
-
-
Lysosome
Lysosomes help clean up the trash located inside the cell, aka old orgnaelles
Mitochondria
Produces the main source of fuel for the cell, ATP through cellular respiration.
