        After this radio station launched, nearly every major city broadcasted news, plays, and sports over the radio
        
        Movies became a major industry in the 1920s
        
        Many countries made films ranging from serious films in Britain to entertainment based films in Los Angeles
        
        LA produced 90% of all films and introduced large actors like Charlie Chaplin and in the late-20s they were able to add sound to movies
        
        All of these advancements led to a better connected world and global prosperity became dependent on major nations’ (especially the United States) economies being stable
        
        Which technological advance do you think had the greatest effect on society?
        
        The increase in entertainment (radios and movies) led to a better connected society. Cars and planes made transport easier but the communication of information was better.

        Writers Reflect Society’s Concerns like the horror of war. The horror had made a very deep impression on writers then.
        
        Why did writers’ visions of the present and future change?
        
        It changed after they were writing about the war. Instead of writing idealistic things they were now writing about realistic
        
        There were many books that were written about the war and the horrifying problems that came along with it.

        He was writing about things like democracy in the world and it was giving other politicians ideas.
