Everybody has their own views and perspectives of words and will interpret words differently than someone else would
Telling someone you love them can have many different meanings to people
As we grow and change, meanings to these words can have different meanings to us as life goes on.
Denotative and Connotative
Denotation
Literal meaning of something; you'd find in a dictionary
Someone learning of someone's death may not be sad but could still give sympathy
Connotation
Emotional meaning of something
Hearing of the death of a loved one would be emotional
Onymous and Anonymous
Onymous
Source of message is clearly known
In face-to-face conversations
May lead people to be less honest because things can be held against you
Anonymous
Source of message is unknown
Can happen in online conversations
Any unpopular opinions you have wouldn't be exposed if you remain anonymous
On Tumblr, you can send anonymous messages to people. It was made for people who were too shy to ask a question publicly. However, lots of people use it to send nasty things to people. You can turn this feature off at any time.
Allows people to say things without any consequences because no one will know it was them that say it
This can be making threats or just talking about personal topics that are emotional
