Claim: GMO foods can cause allergic reactions, especially here in the U.S, where its not allowed to label that the food is a GMO, which can have some people eating foods like an apple, but it has the DNA of a peanut in it, and even though its really small, they can still get sick.
Evidence "Most allergens are proteins, and the organization states that ninety percent of food-allergic reactions in the United States are caused by allergens from only eight foods: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish and fish. Of those, only soy is commercially available in genetically modified varieties" (GMOs causing allergies).
Ok, I do see where you are coming from but I would like to know what is the percent of people that actually get an allergic reaction because I believe that the percent of people getting sick rather than not getting sick is very small.
Okay... Think of it this way. GMOs EVEN SAY they are helping those who are malnourished. even that small percent who could be suffering from gluten sensitivities, they do get sick from gluten sensitivities, which can lead to vomiting, which flushes out any of the origionally eaten nutrients in that GMO, which renders it useless ti that percent tho needs it most.
