Less expensive (for less fortunate, farmers, etc.)
If farmers have GMO bug resistant plants they can save money on pesticides and then they can sell their crops for less
With GMO Potatoes restaurants and stores use more of the Potatoes which means less waste and they can sell it cheaper because they have more.

Claim: On concern about GMO's is that they can a tracked a bug called Sugar Bugs and that might make farmers have to use harsher pesticides then they would with Non-GMO plants.
Evidence: “A recent study coming out of Iowa State University, for example, found that Monsanto's genetically modified corn may have led to the rise of pesticide-resistant "superbugs," which could result in some farmers using even harsher pesticides on their fields” (Concerns about GMOs).
Counterclaim: If they have to use harder pesticides then why don't the scientist take them back and put another gene in.
Counterargument: Scientists maybe could do that, but what if the gene that prevents the diseases is bad for the human body.
Claim: One benefit about using GMO's is that they can make food more nutritious than normal food and can help out the malnourished.
Evidence: “For example, engineers are able to create rice that has vitamin A and iron. The modified rice is more nutritious” (Should the U.S. Support...).
Counterclaim:Yeah but how many bowls will they need to get full of Vitamin A. That will take them forever to eat each day.
Counterargument: It would take about 30 bowls of golden rice and would you rather help the kids as much as you can or just let them die without trying to help them.
