        A supernova is a big explosion. Star increases in brightness and ejects almost all of its mass.
        
        Once this star only has iron left, gravity will collapse the star and explodes!

        After a supernova, if the star is 4x the mass of our sun then will form a small star that is very dense.

        Blackhole
        
        If star is 5x bigger than our sun then core will collapse into a black hole.

        Light cannot escape a black hole
