Electric circuits
An electric circuit is a series of interconnected components that an electric current flows through to produce an effect (like light, heat, sound or movement).

Generators
To create and mantain an electric current we need a device that produces the energy necessary for e- to move. It's like a "thief" of electrons from the atoms to take them to the conductor.

Conductors
It's the element that joins all the components of the circuit and allows the flow of e-. The materials that are able to transmit electricity are called conductors. Conductors: copper, silver, aluminium, metals in general...etc.

Receptors
Receptors are elements that transform the electrical energy they receive into another type of useful energy. All receptors produce heat as waste except receptors whose utility is to produce heat (so heat is not a waste).
