As Health Care Administrators we need to understand the aspects of payment options available to those we serve in order to educate the patient and give them peace of mind. We should make sure that our staff is well versed on what the various types of insurances will cover so that they are able to assist the patient in making the right decision regarding their health. If the patient has no insurance coverage, we should be able to provide information on services that are in place to assist with payment.
