Causes

Hypogonadism.
Secondary hypogonadism: this is when their is a drop in the amount of LH and FSH.This can be due to hypopituitarism or prolactinoma or systemic diseases such as HIV. COPD or Prader-Wills syndrome
Primary hypogonadism is testicular failure. Meaning there is a reduction in the testosterone produced in the body. Causes can be alcohol --> toxic to Ledwig cells, local trauma, chemo or Klinfelters syndrome (47 XXY)
