Google Sites can be used by students to compose or design their own website--giving students an authentic audience when they publish their work. Here they can integrate all what they have learned in an original way.

Diigo seamlessly allows students to bookmark resources. With Diigo, students not only keep their research organized in one place, but more importantly allows students to annotate and highlight while they read, reinforcing the strategy of close reading while doing online research, leading them to understanding as well.

Padlet is an online bulletin board that promotes discussion between students. It encourages students to summarize what they have learned, build off each other's answers, and express their perspectives.

Coggle is an online mind mapping tool that allows students to interact with one another and grow their connections between ideas as they categorize them.

Using Canva, students can illustrate and explain their thinking through a visual modality. Through structuring an infographic, students are internalizing the content.
