All the required information will be available on the motors name plate, if there is no name plate, what info can you use in any formula??

You might have to run the motor under load, take current (amp) readings on all phases, the voltage you are running the motor at, and possibly the resistance of each coil will be needed.
Will also have to measure the speed with a taco, and only then can you determine how many poles the motor has

There is much more of these unknowns if no info is available.

The single phase AC motor operates as a two phase motor. The secret is reactance!
