It makes me feel fortunate and grateful that I am not a first generation immigrant with a language barrier because I know that it would be a definite struggle and there would be a lot of confusion

The problem is having a language barrier is that you don't know what everyone is saying and you can't communicate at shops to obtain basic needs

In your daily life you either go to school work or shop for necessities. Child immigrants are faced with a language barrier almost every day if they move to a different school in a different country.

An immigrant would feel constantly confused and have no way of understanding the world surrounding them. It would also make them undergo enormous amounts of stress and it would be an unpleasant experience and they would regret their move.

It is important to solve this problem because if you come to a country not knowing a language as mentioned before, you will be unable to understand and get around as you would knowing the language.

The problem is people arriving in Australia and being questioned and having to fill out numerous forms to live in Australia.

it would be overwhelming to come to a new country and be portrayed in such a bad way by the media. People wouldn't trust you because you are an immigrant and "all" immigrants are bad.

In your daily life this wouldn't affect you as much but still you would be impacted by the way you are represented by the media regarding how other people would view you because of the medias influence.

It is important to solve this problem because we don't want immigrants to feel out of place, overwhelmed and badly portrayed when they are looking for what is best for them whether it be jobs, opportunities , education, refuge, or just because they can.
