Anasazi
Used dams, ditches, and canals to bring water to crops in the bottom of canyons
Used adobes and stone to build multi-storied houses

Adena
One group of Woodland people were the Adenas, who emerged in 700 BC
Were first to use agriculture and grew crops like squash, sunflowers, and barley
