Treatment
Metastatic disease: IL-2 or interferon promote a 20% remission or the use of vascular endothelial growth factors such as (sorafenib and sunitinib) or mTOR if these patients cannot tolerate or do not respond to the treatment
Localised disease: Radical nephrectomy or radial frequency ablation in people that would be unable to tolerate surgery
Defintion: this is a malignant or benign neoplasm of the renal cells. There are 4 main types of cancer that are prevalent. These include: RCC, Hypernephroma, Grawitz and Wilm's Tumour
