there were many European countries to take advantage of Africa and set a foothold in Africa to benefit their countries by enslaving African natives and arming the rich natural lands and discovering new animals and spices.

slavery has always been very widespread in Africa and us still a problem in differentiate countries to this day.
Mombasa is a city on the coast of Kenya and it is also the countries largest city. but at the peak of the slave trade in Africa smugglers found a smuggling port to the south of Mombasa in an area known as Shimoni provided a perfect warehouse to hold the slaves before they where sent off to Zanzibar.
Malinda is one of the many cities in Africa but Malinda was a big place during the African slave trade because of the high way between lamusa Mombasa. this made it easy to bring slaves from two major cities in Kenya.

the oyo empire can also be brought up when talking about the new found territories and African states. this new territory grew to become one the the greatest empires in Africa through excellent
leadership and trade over the years
between 1600-1700 new African states arose and old states started to disintegrate. the new African states very much depended on the heavy slave trade that was going around in Africa at the time.
the borer is also thought of when talking about new African territories. The word borer means farmer this was used to send spices and goods down to the south of Africa.
