Consumerism was becoming popular as well people were buying and selling things causing a boom for Economical value in products
The stock market was a boom selling and buying stocks caused a lot of money and value of the company to go up. People were becoming rich overnight by buying stocks and selling stocks
Great Depression happened in 1929 causing widespread economical panic and causing alot of poverty among people and causing the stock Market crash
Buying on a margin was also a thing which caused the great depression and made things worse people were buying on credit and only paying 10% at sale

Anarchists were mostly hated due to their opinions on Capitalism and the government in which they expressed that everyone should be free

Communism was very feared in america for how people thought about it. They thought that Capitalism was not good and should be removed for a economy that favoured people to provide for themselves

Democrats had a huge split after WW1 with Woodrow Wilson being the president at the time. The split was mainly due to how people felt on cultural issues that were happening at the time.

The political group that pretty much controlled the 1920's. However, they faced a lot of very bad times with the teapot dome scandal. Calvin Coolidge became president after Harding's death. Herbert Hoover promised economic prosperity that would last
