problems with the website
lemonaid health is a bit confusing - does it indicate serious health care?
"same day online doctor visits" - what are they?
almost too relaxed? needs to be more serious? or is american healthcare more 'fun'?
why might people not trust it?
$25 for everyone - do people find this weird/confusing/like a scam if they are used to paying 1) more 2) different prices with and without insurance
it could feel like a scam
more like a product that they're selling rather than a serious service
reaching college aged women
what do college age women like
what makes something trustworthy?
reviews
affiliation with known doctors etc
familiar
professional
can envisage using it/process
friends and family use it
connect friends on facebook that 'like' lemonaid health?
cheap service
convenience
might be embarrassed to go to doctors for UTI/STI/brith control IRL?
quick
easy
on computer
they might like that it's fun and fresh
why might they not be using it
their parents pay for stuff?
free services with university?
dont know about it
easier services through university?
not 'cool'?/peers don't use it
might not be able to get to their doctors if they don't have a car
work around their schedule
a bit childlike - lemonade = refreshing and fun and relaxed. people with problems want to be taken seriously
In psychology articles, showing pictures of brains increases trust in what is written.
Showing something medical related within the logo/on the website might make the whole company appear more medical and serious
pharmacy sign
stethoscope etc
heart
there's no solid information page about the company overall - maybe they need the information that they give in each of the 'conditions' pages, on one separate 'How Lemonaid Health works' Page.
explain exactly what money is going on? explain the service and process before the price.
confidentiality
all the problems they deal with are quite embarrassing - perhaps this could be a focus of the marketing direction?
people dont trust it because they dont trust e-medicine. need a page introducing people to that.
specific details about how stuff will be kept confidential
Trust in doctors seems to be influenced by the doctor's behaviuor, perceived comfort levels, personal involvement with the patient
need to have a page introducing the doctors to increase the personal involvement feeling
qualification of doctors
don't have a copy of medical records, so can't know full history?
could have a page saying "why we don't cover all illnesses" and talk about how some disorders are not safe to diagnose online etc but these ones are. is there any research to back up online diagnosis?
need more explicit statement that there are no hidden costs/scams/prices/sign ups etc
make clear that patients shd look up the prices of the medicines they might need with the pharmacy before they embark on process. wd make people feel much more secure having a set price in their minds of the WHOLE process before they start.
it is a business - are they just trying to get money out of me?
could they get famous faces to use it and endorse it...?
what could we do?
