because it was in the center of everything and had power in most countries

the values reflected where ones of make as much as possible and pay your workers as little as possible

inventions and ideas spread leading to industrialization

the effect this had on working people was that a lot of men got fired and replaced by children because it was easier for the companies to get away with maying children less and they where younger so they could work for longer.
