additional information on kaizen:
businesses are realising the power of their staff to make small alterations in the production process.
instead of one revolutionary change, small subtle changes are made
firms can give out small incentives to the employees, ex. a proportion of the money that is created with the new technology which can boost motivation levels
the financial rewards are not the main incentive though! a culture must be created whereby staff are happy to contribute, as they must feel apart of the businesses community. it may take a while to build such a culture
