Taking Action
Planning and having great ideas is not enough for success, the step of taking action is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT since great unexecuted ideas are worth NOTHING.
A clear example is Leonardo Da Vinci, he made tons of drafts, masterpieces and experiments of his ideas and arts, many of which have changed the world
It doesn't matter if Pink Floyd members thought that it would be cool to write music but didn't did it, today their music is extremely famous.
The same if one of us decided that studying a career is cool, but ended up without applying for any university, therefore not achieving that dream and idea.
Overcoming Inertia
In order to start the motion of any idea we must first overcome the inertia that makes an idea stay an idea, without being able to OVERCOME the inertia it DOESN'T MATTER if we ever chose to take action.
A clear example of this achievement is from the founder of ITESM, if Eugenio Garza wouldn't decided to take that first easy step, who knows what may have happened
Steve Jobs began Apple in a garage, but if he hadn't tried so hard to move forward, Apple may have never existed.
If he halt right at the doors of a university, or drop it after the first semester all of our efforts would be in vane and we would have fought without award.
Percieved Barriers
The importance of detecting and facing any barrier or problem that may be an obstacle on your way to success is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Being able to detect these problems and take action could save your idea from TOTAL HALT.
Perceiving barriers and overcoming them is also important, a clear example of it is Also Steve Jobs who got kicked out of his own company and managed to keep moving and eventually return.
Also Pink Floyd is a clear example of how a group of people overcame the exit of a crucial member of its group and managed to still reach to glory.
If we are not able to identify possible barriers at our careers and we crash at them we may find it hard to catch the rythm again, so it is really important to identify any possible dangers.
Fear
Fear is a tool for survival, but it could also be our GREATEST ENEMY in the way of success. Being afraid of trying is one of the most deadly and hard obstacles to overcome since it appeals to our own instinct, but in order to achieve you MUST TRY, and if you fail, you get up and try again until success.
If Churchill have had fear during the WWII he would probably gave up Great Britain to the Germans, and god knows what would have happened.
Also If Elon Musk Had fear of loosing his entire fortune on more rocket launches, maybe Space X wouldn't have made the first rehusable rocket.
If we let ourselves be overrun by our fears, we will never advance after finding a barrier that could have stopped us, risking a bit is sometimes the best thing to do.
