Vascular tissue
Vascular plants
are plants that have vascular tissues.
they are responsible for transporting water and nutrients
types of vascular tissue :xylem and phloem
Cuticle
waxy / fatty material in the outer surface of the cell
cuticle helps prevent the evaporation of water from plant tissues and can also act as a barrier to invading microorganisms.
Stoma
Are openings in the outer cell layer of leaves and some stems
They enable the gas exchange and allow the process of transpiration(water loss thought he leaves).
They are mostly found under the plant leaves
Nonvascular plants
Plants that do not have vascular tissues and use osmosis for transportation .
Seeds
Diploid
Seed coat : Protect the embryo
Cotyledon: a chamber that stores and absorbs nutrients
Embryo
Reproductive cycle
sporophyte (2n - diploid) --> produce spores --> develop into gametophyte (1n - haploid) --> produce gamete's --> fertilization occur ( then the process is repeated)
