- - - - Alluminium is cheap but easily bent, scratched and dinged. This is a clear downside of the material. Like, Titanium, alluminium could be painted or coated depending on the desired look.
    - - Titanium would be more expensive, but stronger than alluminium and plastic. The metal could easily be painted over or left bare depending on the desired appearance.
- - - - LCD is the screen that apple uses for most of its phones. The LCD screen uses low power, releases minimal heat and can be made in a wide array of differnt shapes.Unfortunately the LCD cannot be bent as easily and can rarely give absolute black.
    - - Although touch sensitive projctor screens are only in early days, it is conceivable that one day an image could be projected onto the back of a piece of glass, and that we could interact with that image like we do with touch screens. This technology could open up oppurtunities for extremely curved, twisted or shaped screens on our phone.
    - - The advantages of OLED displays are extensive- colours are bold and vibrant, blacks are completely black, the screen can be curved. This makes OLED a brilliantm piece of technology for creating phones. Unfortunately, OLED cells can deteriorate over time, which leads to burning on the screen. "Burning" is just a nickname for when the cells lose some of there accuracy and become faded or dull compared to the other cells. This primarily happens with permanent hud items, like the bluetooth symbol at the top of the screen, or the battery icon
- - - - OLED displays can be curved, as can a projection surface. This means that a phone could have a display that wraps around to the rear aswell. #
