10 Days without asprin before surgery
Used in pts. with history of stroke, chest pain, and stents (use at least 325 mg)
Use interic coated with GI pts.
Plavix
Decrease occurrence of atherosclerotic events in pts. at risk
Inhibits platelet aggregation
Goes together with Aspirin (Synergistic) with stent pts.
Does NOT come coated
Can cause bruising

Interferes with hepatic synthesis of Vit. K+ dependent clotting factors
