Hoovervilles: Towns of people built by destitutes and the unemployed poor in the 1930s. Increased homelessness, caused the popularity of these shantytowns of misfits, abandoned by government, to go up.
Agricultural Marketing Act: It was established by the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1929 (Under the influence of Herbert Hoover) from the Federal Farm Loan Board established by the Federal Farm Loan Act of 1916, with a revolving fund of half a billion dollars to stabilize prices and to promote the sale of agricultural products.

Kellogg-Briand Pact: (Pact of Paris) 1928. This pact was created in the late 20s to try and prevent war from breaking out over small conflicts. This was signed by 27 nations. It helped prevent and legalize war from breaking out. The act ended up failing in 1931 because of the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. This lead to a series of invasions.

Weimar Republic: The Weimar Republic was unpopular between the years 1919 - 1923 because of their democratic approach to an imperial form of government. They were not liked by the Germans because they were thought to have been ³stabbed in the back´ after they agreed to sign the Treaty of Versailles. Attacked by many groups in Germany.
