Domestic means nowadays means you were good around the house. But it can also mean taming
Domestication started with people staying in one place and they started taming wolves. The homo sapiens took control of their environment by farming and taming wild animals
when the ice melted from the ice age, it left behind large bodies of water. These contained fish.
Since the climate was warmer, the humans started planting thing in the new grass.
Domestication: The raising of plants and animals to make them useful to humans.
Homo sapiens were the first to use stone tool
Catalhoyuk was one of the biggest and oldest early human settlements to date. It is roughly 9,000 years old and housed over 8,000 people. There was evidence that the people worshiped gods or have religious beliefs. They had bone utensils. They were one of the first settlements to use metal. And they used to bury their dead under their floor
The earliest domesticated animal was dogs (wolves at the time).
Then they tamed sheep, goats, pig, and cattles.

Humans used animals to do a job and to protect them. The plants allowed them to settle, without having to move from place to place for food.
The advantages of settling are that you can know what to expect from your environment. You could also have more time to do something other than hunting. You could develop a language with your free time. You can learn more about plants and animals. You could have jobs.
You can still major in agriculture today
