NASOPHARYNX

OROPHARYNX

LARYNGOPARYNX
Inferior, narrowed region: extends from hyoid bone to both the larynx and the esophagus
Laws:
Boyle's Law: if the pressure of gas in the thoracic cavity decreases the volume of the container will increase, vice versa.
Henry's Law: at any given temperature, the solubility of a gas in a liquid depending on partial pressure and solubility coefficient of gas in the liquid.
Dalton's Law: the total pressure in a mixture of gases is equal to the sum of all of the separate partial pressures.
