5th- 1.No one can be tried for a serious crime unless a grand jury has decided there is enough evidence to justify a trial.
2.A person found innocent may not be tried again for the same offense.
3.No one may be forced to testify against himself or herself.
4.No one can be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of the law
6th- Right to a speedy, public trial by an impartial jury

7th-the right to a jury trial in federal courts to settle all disputes about property worth more than $20

9th-prevents government from claiming that the only rights people have are those listed in the Bill of Rights.

Structural Changes
20- sets new dates for when the president and vice president are inaugurated (January 20 of the year following the election) and when Congress begins its term (January 3 of every other year).

17-says that the people, not state legislatures, elect United States senators directly.
25- establishes a process for the vice president to take over the office of president if the president is disabled.
12- calls for the Electoral College to use separate ballots in voting for president and vice president.
27- No law varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.
