Rocket 
One impact the rocket had on us today is that it has advanced weapons technology in our world. Like they said in their presentation, Korea might "nuke us."
I give the invention 3 stars. It is just too destructive for my tastes. The presenters were funny and informative.
One interesting fact is that the rocket started out in bamboo tubes. That is a big difference from the big metal rockets we see today.
Tea
One interesting fact is that tea was invented by leaves accidentally falling into a pot of boiling water.
One impact tea had on the world is that is a huge drink in the world today. It is the second most consumed beverage on Earth.

One interesting fact about ice cream is that the first recipe for ice cream included stuff like buffalo milk, flour, and camphor. Blech! Also, I did not know milkshakes started out as an alcoholic drink.
One way this invention impacted the world is it has become one of the most popular deserts or summer snacks in the world. I just shudder to think of a world without ice cream.

One interesting fact is that gunpowder started as an attempted medicine. It turned out very differently.
One impact this invention had on the world is that, like the rocket, it revolutionized war. Think about how many guns are in the military!
I give this invention a rating of 2 stars because, like rockets, it is too destructive for me.

I give this invention a three star rating because, from my experience, they are very difficult to handle. They also hurt the environment.
One impact chopsticks had on the world is that so many people use them. According to their presentations, 45 billion chopsticks are used every year in China alone.
Crossbow

I rate the crossbow 4 stars because, though it was a war weapon, it is still a masterful feat of engineering for the time. Plus, it seems like all the other Chinese weapon inventions were by accident.

One interesting fact is that sometimes the dagger-axe was buried with someone because it shows power to the dead.
I give this invention a rating of 3 stars because it is a cool modification on a few other weapons, but it is still used to kill people.
