Chinese Invention Notes Part 1
Chinese Invention Notes
Jillian Z, Caroline H, & Danielle B: Ice Cream
The Chinese invented the first ice cream maker
When ice cream spread across the Silk Road, many different variations were created. Today, we still have those types of ice cream and we have lots of flavors as well.
I'd give this invention five stars because I love all the types of ice cream that we have today, and Jillian's group did a great job with explaining their invention, giving the details of when and how it was invented and how it evolved over time. They also had a lot of fun pictures.
Everett B: Toothbrush
I'd give this invention four stars because without this invention, we'd all have wooden teeth! (Or fake ones whatever you'd like.)
The first toothbrush was made with hog hair.
If we didn't have toothbrushes, then our health would worsen and we would be cleaning our teeth with bird feathers and porcupine needles.
Lourdes L, & Ella A: Chinese Noodles
I give this invention four stars because I really like noodles, but I don't really want to eat them constantly.
It was created by accident.
With the creation of Chinese noodles, many different types of noodles were created, including the dried ramen and cup of noodles.
Ally M: Compass
I give this invention five stars because this helps people find their way if they get lost, and ally had a very humorous presentation.
It was once used for fortune telling
The compass helps travelers find their way and not lose their way.
Andrew G & Walter S: Fireworks & Paper Money
I give these inventions five stars because fireworks are very beautiful to see, and paper money is a lot more handy to have than coins.
Fireworks were used for war.
Without paper money, we'd be carrying heavy coins in our pockets and wallets.
