My opinion about the issue, and what caused me to form that opinion
I don't believe that the article is presenting me with facts since it provides no researched proof to why this would be happening, especially in the time period they provided.
The article fights against itself by providing quotes from a professor of dermatology that counter their argument

How using a balance in research and reporting tactics could have made a difference in the outcome of what was reported
If there was research provided in favor of the article's argument, perhaps an interview with one of the researchers mentioned, the article would have seemed more professional and believable.
The article could have provided some type of explanation to the time frame that it claimed blondes would go extinct by, rather than just telling us that it would happen in 200 years.
The article could have provided statistical proof that their claims were true (Finland has the highest proportion of blondes, too few people carry the blonde gene, etc)
The reporter could have explained how recessive genes work a bit more so maybe we could better understand why researchers think that this blonde extinction is possible.
