Influence on the world: guns, explosives, warfare, building, digging/mining
Rating: three stars. Although it is mainly used for war, it was also used for fireworks and mining, which I guess are good.
-
Ice Cream
Interesting: Made from buffalo milk, flour and camphor (What is that)?
-

Influence: important founding fathers including Ben Franklin used the sedan chair on the filthy streets of Philadelphia.
-

Rating: Five Stars, because of its unique design
-

Calligraphy

Influence: Things like the printing press originally used calligraphy, and Chinese still use calligraphy to write, or rather calligraphy-inspired writing.
-
-
Toothbrush

-

-
Umbrella
-
Influence: These days, we use them whenever it rains or at the beach.
-
-
Chopsticks
-
-
Rating: 3. Not too groundbreaking, complex to use... but still a nice idea.
-
Crossbow
Interesting!: The crossbow uses bolts instead of arrows, which are thicker.
-
Influence: We use crossbows for hunting these days, but in the medieval times the crossbow was an incredibly common yet effective weapon used in wars, sieges, etc. Also, it is now common in video games.
-
Dagger Axe
Influence: The dagger-axe was similar to the Medieval halberd, a battle-axe/spear. It also had a long shaft and pointed tip, and was used during battles to dismount a mounted knight. However, the dagger-axe was most commonly used for ceremonies.
