WHO WE ARE
-
A new, satellite organisation of Founders & Coders, from which we all graduated

WHAT WE DO
We run design workshops These introduce design approaches to problem solving to charities and small businesses.
We create small coded prototypes, allowing organisations to explore digital in an agile way
We create fully-fledged apps, and we create websites
WHAT WE ARE NOT
A top-down employer: this is a co-op, after all
An easy option: we all share responsibility for client liason, budgeting, and most aspects that make up a business. The success or failure of our business model relies on the work that we put in, and how well we work together as a team. The designers on our team will get their hands dirty with front-end code; the developers will help run design workshops.
Perfect: we are a new organisation, running on the desire to carve out a better life for ourselves and the people we work with (and the tiniest amount of insanity). We know that we will make mistakes, but so long as we are working towards this shared goal, we can accept this in ourselves and in each other
WHAT TO EXPECT
Hard work: whether we get paid or not comes down to how much work we put in. Which is honestly a pretty strong incentive.
Adrenaline (AKA stress): There will be times where clients drop out, and things don’t go to plan. In our experience, with a bit of ingenuity and humour, these mammoth problems have a way of working themselves out. This is the plight of the freelancer: there are no guarantees, and it certainly isn’t for everyone.
We believe of eachother that… Regardless of what we discover, we understand and truly believe that everyone did the best job they could, given what they knew at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand.”
