There are multitudes of subjective life purposes
Strive for
value-based
meaning. Make it a
decision
.
Purpose isn't a blueprint for living, it takes work to find it and align it with reality
Axioms of Natural Psychology
We were not designed for any purpose
We do not seek purpose, we must decide what gives us purpose
If you don't
decide
to have purpose, you will not have it
Purpose is found by considering something to be more important than other things -- you give value priority
You need to name and frame your own purpose(s)
Life purpose
and
meaning
are 2 sides of the same coin. Purpose is the intent. Meaning is the "reward" that you hope for
You can't force meaning, but you can set yourself up for success to find them
A meaning opportunity is the possibility of finding meaning. Whether it happens or not must be discovered
Your life purposes and individual meaningful experiences are seperate. You can have life purpose but not be finding the meaning, but you can't have meaning without having a life purpose in the first place.
Both purpose and meaning and important. Focus on being a
value-based meaning-maker
who has an intention that is based on their values and is actively trying to manifest them, not passively waiting for them to happen.
Naming your purposes
!=
living them. You may be unable to live them unless you have certain "prerequisites". If there are prerequisites to your purpose, than those prerequisites must also become part of what your purpose is.
