Identifying Special Education Students in Middle School
Throughout term, I observe and record student's struggles, and discuss periodically with parents. I try a variety of differentiation strategies.

The student continues in my class as always, but for two to three block per week, they visit the Learning Support Specialist
I communicate throughout the units with the specialist, providing reading lists, vocabulary, and task sheets for assessments
The specialist and I develop differentiation strategies to assist the student in my class...strategies will depend on the disability but could include any of the following:
