Robert Rules Of Order
He discovered and studied the few books available on the subject. From time to time die to his military duties, he was transferred to various parts of the united states, where he found virtual parliamentary anarchy.
To bring order out of chaos, he decided to write roberts rules of order.
Henry Robert was an engineering officer in the regular U.s Army in the 1870's. He went to a public meeting and got embarrassed because it erupted into conflict. He was determined to never attend another meeting until he knew something of the parliamentary law.
Meeting roles
Agreeable Role - Agrees with whatever is said, not offering any new ideas on their own.

Resister Role - This person often resists change, which is most likely the purpose of almost all meetings.

Leader role - each meeting, no matter how big or small, needs a moderator/leader to keep the focus of the agenda and lead conversation topics in those directions.

Outside Interests Role - Pleads for a special group or cause, almost like a lobbyist.
