General behavior: eye contact; following guidance; pushing people
How do they interact with other students and teachers: Can they share toys? Play with their classmates?
Thinking skills: ability to recognize and point to people, places, things; answer questions; participate in creative work
Communication skills: Are they quiet all the time? How many words can they speak? Can they communicate in sentences?
Praise students for growth, continue to encourage growth
With other teachers to discuss different learning approaches for the student
With parents regarding how the child is doing
With learning support staff to evaluate IEPs, assess the progress
