He desired to show the faults of a materialistic society.
Poem translates to YOLO (Enjoy self and do not focus on exterior displays.
Instead he questioned the purpose of anything in life.
Thesis: In this paper, I plan on discussing Shakespeare's usage of purposeful sonnet structure, rhyme scheme, and literary devices to showcase the faults within a materialistic society when living life for self is what matters.
