Lead assessment of the usefulness of new technology for academic pedagogic practice

Advise the faculty on the development of workflows for assessment and feedback and provide guidance on standardised approaches.

Advise the Faculty on the implementation of the expected use of Canvas
Advise on the use of Canvas to enhance and engage learners through a learning design approach to delivery.
Developing inclusive practice and accessibility guidance relating to Expected Use of Canvas
Developing Impact
Liaise with Faculty management to provide suitable learning opportunities for staff in the use of learning and teaching tools.
Work with the Faculty management teams to identify areas of best practice in the use of technology for learning and teaching
Advise the Faculty management teams on how to deliver impact in learning and teaching using technology in underperforming areas
Supporting and scaffolding blended learning using VLE, lecture recording, digital portfolios and other tools for learning and teaching enhancement
Inclusivity
Developing and supporting a digital capabilities framework for staff who teach and support learning
Collecting and sharing examples of best practice in LTE (e.g. activities supporting institutional themes of employability, internationalisation and inclusivity)
Supporting university processes of programme development and validation
Liaising and transferring information between Faculties and LTE Directorate, in particular sharing cross Faculty learning and teaching activities
