analyze what tools tell us about a society
uses for tools
the sickle was for harvesting and was very important
axes were used to hunt animals to get meat for their food
daggers were used for hunting but not as much as the axes
fish hooks were used for fishing
the spears were used for throwing at people and animals to kill them
tools that they used
sickle
fish hooks
dagger
spear
axes
what the tools were made out of
sickles were made with wood
axe blades were made out of copper
dagger blades were made out of flint
the fish hooks were made out of bones
spears are made out of extremely sharp stone and wood
what the tool tells us
axes and daggers lead me to believe that they hunted and ate meat so they were not vegetarians
sickles are made for harvesting, so they must have eaten vegetables so they are omnivores
fish hooks means that they ate fish so that means they lived close to water.
they used spears, so they might not have liked face-to-face combat
