How to make a cigar box diddley bow
Materials
Cigar box
Broom stick or any piece of wood
Guitar string
Tacks
Tuning pegs
screws
material for Bridge
hose clamp
metal piece for slider
tools
Drill with drill bits
Sand paper/Sander
Saw
Tape measure
Pencil
Safety wear
glue
Quick instructions
Mark measurements on broom stick to your length
Mark and drill out one hole on each side of cigar box using drill bit
Slide broom stick through holes with one end only a few inches out of the box and screw the box to the broom stick
Drill holes on top of cigar box to amplify sound
Drill a screw on the small end of the broom stick about half way, wrap one end of the guitar string on the screw, screw down the screw all the way to about flushed if possible
Dril a hole on the end of the long part of the broom stick and attach the tuning peg
Attach the guitar string to the tuning peg and tune the string
Put the horse clamp and bridge under the under the string to keep it tight.
Shred on your new diddley bow!!!!!
