Hospitalisation & Medical Leave
Eligibility
Employed for at least 3 months
Inform or attempt to inform employer of the absence within 48 hours
Sick leave have to be certified by company's doctor, company approved doctor or government docter

Up to 14 days of out-patient leave and 60 days of hospitalisation leave

Employer bear cost of employees' medical consultation fee
For outpatient sick leave, employer pays employees at their gross rate of pay without shift allowance
For hospitalisation leave, employers has to pay at their gross rate of pay
Special situation
Half day: Leave taken on a half working are considered as one day's sick leave
While serving notice: Entitled to paid leave as long as he meets the eligibility criteria
Ran out of sick leave: Offer no pay leave, make other arrangements
