Building
Find a flat area that you would like to build on
Take biggest container and fill quarter of way with sand
take just enough water to dampen sand and pour ontop
repeat process until bucket is filled
slowly carry bucket to spot that base will be. turn face down onto flat ground and slowly lift bucket to reveal structure.
continue to make structures and place them where you feel looks best. if you're comfortable doing so, try placing structures on top of another to make walls and towers.
Landscape
Draw out a circle around the perimeter of the castle, dig this circle into the ground and cover the edges in mud. This is your moat. (mud helps water stay in and not soak into the ground)
stick twigs and leaves and other things you find into the structures to give them more definition and detail.
Plan out where you want everything to be laid out.
