Child Labor
Child labor was very hard for the children and at any second they could loose a limb, like an arm or a leg. Even though it was very hard they only got paid 5 cents every day.
Child labor was beneficial because families brought in more money and they also helped produce more goods

Strikes
Pullman Strike: when the railroad workers went on a strike for better pay or less rent costs. The Government ended up shutting them down and stopping the strike in a violent way.
Haymarket Square Riot: Was a labor protest rally near Haymarket square and It turned into a riot after someone threw a bomb at the police that soon became very violent.
Steel strike of 1919: When the steel co. had poor working condition with long hours and got got paid very little.had cooperation harassment so the striking numbers grew fast.

Over production of goods made the prices go down, Railroads charged high rates for shipping casts
