Visuals and audio
First half of advert (when wearing bad shoes) is 80s. A filter will be applied in post production and there will be 80s remix of New rules. When taking the shoes off, they will be thrown and hit someone on the head, as this is funny. The second half will have a remix of New Rules https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0A12nmvqd0.

Target Audience
-
Millennials - appeals to them through the humour. Additionally, the fact that the advert is for sportswear will attract millennials as they are often concerned about their health.
General Idea
A character is running in a pair of old trainers. The character keeps on falling over and is blatantly failing to run properly. While this is happening, a retro filter will be applied (in post-production) and an 80s remix of New Rules by Dua Lipa will be played in the background. The character sits down and takes off their bad pair of trainers, carelessly throwing them over their shoulder and hitting someone on the head (this part is purely for comedy). Once the new shoes are on, the filter will disappear and a modern dance remix of New rules by Dua Lipa will play in the background. The character will now be excellent at running, showing that the product is suitable.
